Is the Mini Clay Kit suitable for beginners?

Yes! This kit is designed especially for beginners. It includes everything you need—clay, tools, paint, glaze, and a step-by-step guide—to help you feel confident, even if you’ve never touched clay before.

How many creations can I make with this kit?

With 250g of air dry clay, you can make around 2–3 small items—like trinket dishes, mini vases, ring holders or sculpted ornaments. Perfect for sampling the pottery experience!

Do I need a kiln or any special equipment?

No kiln needed! Our clay is air-dry, so you can simply leave your pieces out to dry for a couple of days. Everything you need to sculpt, paint, and seal is included in the kit—no extra tools required.

Can kids use the Mini Clay Kit?

The kit is suitable for ages 6+ with adult supervision. It's a great craft activity for creative kids and teens, and of course, big kids too ;)

How long does it take to complete a project?

You can sculpt in one session, but drying time will take 24–72 hours depending on size and thickness (or oven bake at 100-120C for 1-1.5hrs!). Once dry, you can paint and glaze your creations—it’s a two-part creative experience!

I’d love to be able to share a review, however I’ve still not received the clay kit which is disappointing as I had originally ordered it for Christmas.

Hi Leah! We tried to reach out to you via email on the 19th and 23rd of December (unfortunately we didn't have your phone contact) but haven't seemed to have heard back. From our courier tracking it appears the parcel was delivered on the 20th of December but please let us know if you still haven't received your parcel.

We had your kit shipped out the same day that your order came through. Unfortunately, once the item is with our courier, it’s in their hands, and delays can sometimes happen that are beyond our control.
